Production Assistant-Part-time: WHAS-11 has an opening for a part-time Production Assistant, This position is responsible for writing, updating, and editing news content, photos and videos for WHAS11’s web, mobile, and social media platforms. Additionally, Production Assistants are responsible for sorting and distributing scripts prior to newscasts and operating teleprompter during newscasts. Production Assistants work closely with the WHAS11.com Executive Producer to coordinate coverage plans and ensure leadership in breaking news. WAVE-TV the NBC Affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer. Should have a strong background in television equipment operation, maintenance and repair. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of Electronic Newsrooms and Editing system, Digital Transmitters and microwave systems, Remote control systems, Studio equipment and ENG equipment. I/T experience is essential. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. while climbing an 8-foot ladder; must be able to carry 50 lbs. a minimum of 5 feet. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a busy team that will require a flexible schedule. Must have excellent communication skills; team player attitude, reliable with initiative.
