WFPK Music Director WFPK is searching for a Music Director to work closely with our Program Director to help supervise the station’s music rotation.  The successful candidate will select the music from our extensive library and through the acquisition of CD’s and internet downloads for the preparation of play lists.  Responsibilities also include maintaining current play lists on computer, downloading all current selections in the play list to the stations main computer system, compiling music charts and taking on the role of liaison with record labels and distribution companies. The position may include an air shift and/or fill-in.  The Music Director will assist the Program Director to fully utilize social media and new technology to increase the profile of the station. Experience Selector and DAD systems preferred but not a must.  Candidate will have at least two years on-air experience.  Public Radio experience and knowledge of the Triple A format desired.
