WAVE-TV the NBC Affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer.  Should have a strong background in television equipment operation, maintenance and repair.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of Electronic Newsrooms and Editing system, Digital Transmitters and microwave systems, Remote control systems, Studio equipment and ENG equipment.  I/T experience is essential.  Must be able to lift 25 lbs. while climbing an 8-foot ladder; must be able to carry 50 lbs. a minimum of 5 feet.  The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a busy team that will require a flexible schedule.  Must have excellent communication skills; team player attitude, reliable with initiative.  Must be able to obtain a CDL license to operate a Satellite Truck.  A degree in electronics or equivalent experience and an FCC General Class License or SBE certification is preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
